FAQ Smart Pricing
1. What are SMART skipass prices?

SMART pricing means that the price of a skipass adapts to demand and current conditions, such as weather, resort occupancy or date. It is a fully automatic process without any staff intervention. Think of it like airline ticket prices. This system allows you to get the best price for early purchases and also ensures the optimal number of visitors for the ideal skiing experience. Simply put: The earlier I buy my skipass, the cheaper it will be.

2. How will the new SMART pricing purchasing system affect the quality of services?
SMART pricing will allow for more even utilization of the resort, which means better capacity planning, shorter lines, and better quality services for visitors.
3. How many days in advance can I check skipass prices?

Skipass prices will be available for the entire season from the start of sales. You can plan a Christmas or spring ski trip and buy a skipass at the lowest price.

4. If I buy a skipass in advance and can't come, what should I do?

A skipass can be cancelled no later than 48 hours before its start date, for a fee of €5 without giving a reason. Your user account will be charged with a credit equal to the value of the ski pass minus €5. Simply fill in the cancellation form and send it to eskipass@kubinska.sk. You must be registered to use this service.

5. Is it more convenient to buy a skipass online or on site?

It is most advantageous to buy a skipass online. In addition to the lower price, you will save time because you will avoid waiting at the cashier. Benefits such as entry to Orava Castle or entry to Aquarelax Dolný Kubín are only available when purchasing online via our digital discount card Tím Kubínska.

6. Can I buy a skipass for a future date directly on site?

Yes, it is possible, but you will only get lower prices when buying online.

7. How often do prices change during the day and what influences this?

Prices may change several times a day depending on the number of skipasses sold, weather or current ski conditions. The price is affected by several factors, such as the day of the week, occupancy, weather, number of skipasses sold and date.

8. Can two people see different prices at the same time?

Although it is very rare, it can happen. The algorithm assesses each query individually and works in real time.
