Water World

The water world offers visitors water attractions of various kinds. A large multifunctional relaxation pool under the base of the pyramid with a length of 26 meters and a width of 19 meters. The depth of the pool is from 110 to 130 cm. The water temperature is 32 °C.

The relaxation pool and its surroundings include a children’s pool 32 °C, bubblers, a massage bench for 6 people, 3 massage showers, a water mushroom, 6 massage jets, a wild river, a swinging bay, an island, 2 whirlpools with a water temperature of 36 °C, 4 heated benches, 200 sunbeds, 2 drinking fountains, 2 slides, NIAGARA double slide, AquaBar and barrier-free access.

Orava Castle

One of the biggest tourist attractions in northern Slovakia is Orava Castle, built on a rock above the Orava River in Orava Podzámek as an “eagle’s nest”. They started building the castle on the site of an old wooden castle after the Tatar invasion in 1241. From the originally small fortress from the 13th century, an extensive castle complex was created in the course of the following centuries, which today has 154 rooms. In the past, it was the county castle and seat of the Orava Castle Manor. Almost all of Orava belonged to him. The buildings and interior of the castle bear features of the Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and modern styles.

Orava Castle consists of a series of buildings following the shape of the castle hill and rampart. In 1556, it came into the hands of the Thurz family, who carried out its most extensive reconstruction. The Orava Castle got its present form in 1611.

Oravský hrad

Jednou z najväčších turistických atrakcií severného Slovenska je Oravský hrad, vybudovaný na skale nad riekou Orava v Oravskom Podzámku ako „orlie hniezdo“. Hrad začali budovať na mieste starého dreveného hrádku po tatárskom vpáde v roku 1241. Z pôvodne malej pevnosti z 13.storočia vznikol v priebehu nasledujúcich storočí rozsiahly hradný areál, ktorý má dnes 154 miestností. V minulosti bol župným hradom a sídlom Oravského hradného panstva. Patrila mu takmer celá Orava. Budovy a interiér hradu nesú črty románskeho slohu, gotiky, renesancie, baroka i moderných slohov.

Oravský hrad tvorí rad budov sledujúcich tvar hradného vrchu a brala. V roku 1556 sa dostal do rúk Thurzovcom, ktorí uskutočnili jeho najrozsiahlejšiu prestavbu. Svoju dnešnú podobu dostal Oravský hrad v roku 1611.
